I have taken the March 2020 sales data from the Vancouver Real Estate Board and broken it down into two categories by date. The first category is the number of sales from March 1st to 17th. The second category is the number of sales from March 17th to March 31st. The data shows the initial start of the decline in the number of sales in the affordability sector for most areas of Greater Vancouver. I was expecting to see a more obvious decline yet I am sure the sales data to come for the month of April will give us a clearer look into how much COVID-19 has slowed our real estate market.
