“That I have arrived at The Tuck Shoppe and I have just been served the Old School Deli & Pork Belly Cubano sandwiches”
I am confident that any wise man would know the modern answer to be true. The Tuck Shoppe in Mount Pleasant makes the best sandwiches in Vancouver and is a must visit. The menu offers amazing sandwiches, salads, snacks, craft beers, cider and wine. What got my attention and wanted me to move closer to 237 Union Street was my first visit and the Old School Deli sandwich. To be frank, I am not a sandwich guy but I heard about The Tuck Shoppe and I decided to try it out. After my second bite I was amazed and I was immediately converted to a sandwich guy. I could not remember the last time I had eaten a sandwich and within moments I was rearranging my following day’s calendar to have lunch at The Tuck Shoppe. I can honestly say without a doubt I am officially a sandwich guy exclusive to The Tuck Shoppe, I mean even as I write this article my palate is starting to crave the Pork Belly Cubano. In fact, I know exactly where I will be at 12:05 pm today…no matter what…snow, sleet, rain and or icy streets.

If you would like a little slice of heaven with your appetite get to 237 Union Street. The menu offers six sandwiches, assorted snacks, soups and salads. I am not a food critic so I won’t go into culinary detail but what I can say with confidence is that you will be delighted you ventured to The Tuck Shoppe and you will be most definitely returning for more.
